On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Ursuline Sisters of the Eastern Province honored Sr. Jeannie Humphries, OSU, on her 25th Jubilee.

Join us on May 8th at 5:00pm for World Flavors: A Culinary Journey of Faith and Community, a Global Tasting Cocktail Soiree. The evening will feature a delightful array of cuisines taken from the Ursuline Global Cookbook, a collection of recipes from over 25 countries.

Sunday, June 2nd, at 11:00 AM we had our Province Jubilee Liturgy and Celebration. Let’s extend our heartfelt congratulations to these remarkable women.

Sr. Claire Smith, OSU (aka Claude) died peacefully on the morning of April 25, 2024, at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, where she was receiving care. Born on May 14, 1937, she was the daughter of Sara Scanlan and Frederick Smith.

Sister Dolores Yanshak, OSU (a.k.a Mary Consilia), died peacefully on Saturday, April 13, at the Westchester Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the daughter of Frances Rosell and Frank Yanshak, on July 2, 1930.
