2020 Advent Journey

As we prepare for the holy season of Advent, we will be sharing a series of posts on our Facebook page. The posts will be reflections from a calendar composed by Father Terence Moran. Titled “No Room: An Advent Journey with People Experiencing Homelessness,” the calendar will help us prepare for Jesus by encouraging us to open our hearts to people who are experiencing this hardship.

The aptly chosen image for the calendar is titled “The Holy Family of the Streets” by Kelly Latimore. It parallels the struggles of the Holy Family in having to flee their hometown in search of shelter with that of a modern day family arriving from their war torn country.
