Ursulines attend “Environmental Activism for the Long Haul: The Energizing vision of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si” Conference

Sr. Mary Sullivan, Sr. Dee Yanshak, Sr. Carole Marie Keaney, Sr. Alice Marie Giordano and Sr. Jackie DaSilva attended this conference on October 25, 2017 at the Mariandale Center in Ossining, NY.

The keynote speaker was Rev. Terrence J. Moran. There was a panel discussion and an activist from Paris spoke about the support she receives from the Ursuline Sisters in France. The day also included time for reflection, networking and exploring the inner sources of hope and strength that will empower environmental activists in the struggle for a sustainable human presence on Earth.
