Sr. Ann Peterson, OSU entered the Ursuline Order in 1957 and made her first profession in 1960. She has served on the Leadership Council of the Province of the Eastern Province since 1994 . She was the principal at The Ursuline School, New Rochelle from 1967 to 1974. She served as Superior in communities in Malone and in New Rochelle, NY. A licensed social worker, she most recently volunteered at St. Vincent’s Hospital but worked as a social worker from 1988-1994 at White Plains Hospital in New York and from 1994 – 2009 at North Star Behavioral Health Services in Malone, NY. Previously she taught at Blessed Sacrament from 1962-1964 and at St. Joseph’s School from 1964- 1967. She served as a pastoral coordinator in the Malone District School religious Education in Malone, NY from 1975-1977 and served there as the Director of Pastoral Outreach from 1978-1980. She served on the Board of Trustees at the College of New Rochelle from 2002 until it closed in 2019. She also served on the Board of Trustees of the Ursuline School from 2013 until 2019. She was a Board Member of Angela House from 1992- 1994. She was an Advisory Board member for Senior Care and Transitions for Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers from 2015 – 2019. She was a tertian in Rome from 1974 – 1975.
