Sr. Alice Marie Giordano, OSU Selected as Outstanding Educator
Congratulations to our Sister Alice Marie Giordano for being selected as an Outstanding Educator by the University of Chicago. Nominated by one of her former class of ’20 students from the Academy of Mount St. Ursula, Sr. Alrie continues to embody the charism of St. Angela, our foundress, in her guidance of her students. This above quote was taken from the letter received by the nominating student. The Dean of Students and Financial Aid informed Sr. Alrie of this honor and said that it is thirty year tradition that incoming students recommend their outstanding educators “individuals who challenged them intellectually for the first time, opened new vistas of discovery, or channeled their interests into paths for intellectual growth.” Sr. Alrie congratulations on being selected. We are inspired by you.
