World Flavors: A Culinary Journey of Faith and Community

Thank you to all who joined us for World Flavors: A Culinary Journey of Faith & Community our Global Tasting Cocktail Soirée as we celebrated the Ursuline Global Mission and its life-changing work. We were blessed to celebrate with Ursuline friends and our affiliates from the Ursuline School, Ursuline Academy, Mount Saint Ursula and Songcatchers. Special thanks to our student ambassadors from Mount Saint Ursula and The Ursuline School, Chef Dr. Frank Constantino, Dean of the Culinary Institute at Monroe University and his culinary team of students, our beautiful harpist Alyce Smyth and the talented Songcatchers Orchestra.

We still have copies of the Ursuline Global Cookbook available for purchase. Created by the Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, DE this special cookbook is a collection of recipes from Ursuline community members in 25 countries. Sales from the cookbook supports the community kitchen at the Mother of Peace School in Battambang, Cambodia – a ministry of the Ursuline Global Mission. This initiative provides a space for village women to prepare nutritious meals for their families and create economic opportunities for themselves.

Join us on May 8th at 5:00pm for World Flavors: A Culinary Journey of Faith and Community, a Global Tasting Cocktail Soiree. The evening will feature a delightful array of cuisines taken from the Ursuline Global Cookbook, a collection of recipes from over 25 countries. It will be a night of delicious flavors and meaningful connections, as we bring together our worldwide partners, alumni, friends, supporters, and Sisters to celebrate the diverse cultures and communities the Ursulines serve. Proceeds from the evening will support the Ursuline Global Mission most specifically our efforts to educate young people in impoverished communities around the world.
