On this anniversary we are fortunate to share a message spoken by our Holy Father, Pope Francis, regarding our theme, “A global community moving into new life.”

During a papal audience with us last month, he emphasized that it is possible to move towards new life by “imitating Christ in charity… [and] becoming a neighbor to every [person… with respect for cultural and religious diversity]…
Love for people is a force that promotes the encounter with God and the spiritual life… Every time we meet a brother and sister in love, our faith is more enlightened to recognize God.”

In celebration of this anniversary, it is our wish that these words be echoed in all our lives and in the world we live.
