										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sr. Regina Gagnier, Mother Stanislaus, beloved member of the Ursuline Community, died peacefully at Andrus-on-Hudson on March 17. Beloved daughter of Jeannette Patenaude Gagnier and Edgar Gagnier, Sister was born in Churubusco, NY one of eight siblings. She is predeceased by brothers, James, Hubert, Gerard and Edward, and sisters, Annette, Albertine and Evelyn. She is survived by several loving nephews and nieces.<br />
Sister held a B.S. degree from the Catholic University of America and Master’s degrees from Fordham University, NY and Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee.<br />
Sr. Regina professed first vows in 1935 and throughout 75 years served in education ministry as principal, teacher and reading instructor in Ursuline schools in Malone and Middletown in New York and Wilmington, Delaware. Sister served in Wilmington as principal of Ursuline Academy Lower School from 1960-69. Following subsequent missions in California and New York City, she returned to Wilmington to work in administrative services at Ursuline Academy and as Eucharistic Minister at Christiana Hospital.<br />
Wake and Funeral will be held private. Donations may be made to the Retirement Fund, Ursuline Provincialate, New Rochelle, NY.</p>
