Need A Prayer?

The Sisters will be happy to pray for your intentions.

Support The Sisters.

Your gift helps to further our mission of ministry and to care for our elderly Sisters

The Ursuline Sisters of the Eastern Province are religious women in an international community who follow the vision and charism of our foundress, St. Angela Merici. We commit ourselves to the love of God and others through traditional and new ministries, solidarity with the poor, pursuit of justice, collaboration with the laity, and commitment to the Laudato Si’ platform.

Thank you for all your dedication and hard work over the years to our community!

Love seeing this picture of all of you. Thank you for the wonderful education I received and for the friendship of those of you who were my classmates.

So much love and gratitude for all of you.

Thanks for all the gifts you’ve brought to our communities. Truly a life of service!

Proud to be associated with all of you and to know so many of you.

They are some of the brightest, most worldly and inspirational women that I’ve know. Role models in their own right and upstanding citizens. Happy belated international women’s day!

In his Message for Lent 2024, Pope Francis emphasizes that when God reveals Himself, His message is one of freedom, drawing parallels to the Exodus story of the Hebrew people. The Pope urges the faithful to see the world as it is and hear the cries of the oppressed, challenging them to counter a “globalization of indifference” and break free from the rule of modern-day Pharaohs that lead to weariness and indifference. Lent is described as a season of grace and conversion, where individuals can find new criteria of justice and community, and mature in their freedom by making a personal decision not to fall back into slavery. The Pope encourages prayer and helping others as part of the Lenten journey, and concludes on a hopeful note of new creativity and a burst of new hope, urging the faithful to have courage and faith to move forward in history.
