Obituary for Sr. Anne Walsh, OSU

Sr. Anne Walsh, a beloved member of the Ursuline Community, died peacefully July 19, 2019 at Andrus -on-Hudson, Hastings New York. Sr. Anne was born to Margaret O’Hanley and John J Walsh in Newport RI on May 2, 1933. She was the youngest of 10 children and was predeceased by all. November 25th is the 482 Anniversary of the Foundation of the Ursuline Order!

To day we celebrate the 482nd anniversary of the Foundation of the Ursuline Order. On this day St. Angela Merici gathered with 28 of her companions and after attending Mass they signed their names in the Book of the Company. Happy Anniversary to all those who claim Angela as their foundress!

Sr. Mary Sullivan, Sr. Dee Yanshak, Sr. Carole Marie Keaney, Sr. Alice Marie Giordano and Sr. Jackie DaSilva attended this conference on October 25, 2017 at the Mariandale Center in Ossining, NY.
